Long Term Weight Management Program

The key to long-term weight loss is continued participation in a maintenance programUnited Regional Solutions is committed to your long-term weight loss success. Regaining weight after completing a weight loss program can be extremely disheartening and is, unfortunately, a very common experience. Research shows that continued participation in a long-term weight management program or "maintenance" program can be the difference between staying at a healthy weight and regaining lost weight.

If you have completed any of our non-surgical 18-week programs, you can attend our maintenance program free for up to 12-months.

What can you expect from a Maintenance Program?

Your first expectation for this program is long-term weight loss success! Our dieticians and behaviorists focus on continuing to support and encourage the new lifestyle that you adopted during your weight loss program.

In a group setting, you can be supported by people who share your experience with weight management. In turn, you can support others who can learn from your experience and follow your example.

The goal of this program is to help patients who have completed one of our non-surgical programs continue to lose weight and to help them stay on track once they've lost the weight. This program will provide you with the support and encouragement you need to achieve a life-long, successful weight loss.

Weight maintenance will help you continue toward your weight loss goals and help you stay on track when you have achieved your target weight. As a participant in the program, you can continue to purchase and use OPTIFAST products as you need them.

Because the best way to learn is to actually practice and re-enforce certain behaviors, our weight loss maintenance program will provide you with activities and topics that you can apply daily.

Some of our regular activities include:

  • A grocery store tour
  • A cooking class, conducted by Dr. Hall
  • Exercise tips
  • Guest speakers
  • General support sessions

Long-Term Maintenance Program meetings are held monthly.
