Medically Supervised Weight Loss Trial (MSWLT) Program

This program is designed to meet the requirements of insurance providers for patient education and medical supervision before bariatric surgery. 

Requirements:

  • You must be referred to this program by a physician
  • Your insurance company will provide you with the guidelines on how many classes you will need to attend and how often. In most cases you will be required to attend one class per month for six months.
  • There is a maximum of 8 people per class so you have to reserve a seat for the day you wish to attend.

Class 5

During each session you will receive:

  • Medically supervised weight loss trial classes:  Sound nutrition tips
  • Monthly medical monitoring including, blood pressure and weight
  • You  will be educated on low calorie diets, exercise and behavior modification

Schedule:

  • Tuesday and Thursday morning at 11am and last for one hour
  • Second, third and fourth Wednesday each month at  4 pm
  • In most case you will need to attend only one class a month.
